Hub City Derby Dames

We are Hattiesburg's very own flat track roller derby league!

As of March 2013, the Hub City Derby Dames are a proud member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

The Hub City Derby Dames currently have 2 teams: The more well-known Southern Misfits and the up-and-coming Hattiesburg Hooligans.

The Hub City Derby Dames league is a not-for-profit organization formed to foster national and international amateur flat-track roller derby competitions.

As the first all-girl flat-track roller derby league in in Hattiesburg, MS, the Hub City Derby Dames offer all able bodied females 18 and up a chance to experience the sport we have brought here to this city, no matter their sexual orientation, physical attributes, education or ethnicity. We support self-confidence, strength, empowerment, and individuality in all of our Derby sisters both on and off the track.

We push ourselves as individuals and as a team to perform at the best of our ability and to represent Roller Derby in a positive light. The safety of our skaters is our first priority, we put forth nothing less than our best effort to teach proper technique and insist on roller derby grade safety equipment to participate in all practices and bouts.

We uphold the rules, regulations and standards of play set forth by the WFTDA to maintain the integrity of the sport.

We practice Monday and Wednesday from 7-9 at the Dames' Den (5198 US 49 South, Hattiesburg, MS). We ALWAYS welcome new players, referees, non-skating officials, and FANS!
